Denton Does Day of the Dead
Did you check out Denton’s Day of the Dead Festival this year? In its fifteenth year, this was the best yet! The costumes were off the hook, really brilliant. People seem to be spilling into Denton from all over to check out the Halloween scene here and they are showing up ready to embrace the weird and the beautiful and the bizarre we have exploding from every seam in downtown Denton.
If you missed Denton’s Day of the Dead Festival in 2025, make your plans now to attend next year. The City of Denton leaned in hard on the 31 Days of Halloween with the Day of the Dead Festival at the heart of that experience. Come for the coffin races and the Cirque du Horror, and then stay for the music, the community altar along with the beautiful Flight of the Souls blessing, and the unforgettable Twilight Lantern Parade.
